My soul as well as my body needs to be nourished on a regular basis.
As “food” for my soul I will set aside some time each day for quiet prayer and reflection.

It’s hard to believe we are beginning a new year. I hope you all had a Blessed Christmas with family and friends. You have all done such wonderful work for your ministries in the past, and I know you will continue to do so in 2026. Please continue to share with our social media and the DeMarillac News. It gives everyone such great ideas that they may want to initiate in their association.

We are looking for ideas so that we can celebrate our 65^th Anniversary as Ladies of Charity, Diocese of Pittsburgh in 2026. Please let me know if you have any thoughts on how we can celebrate. 724-969-4190 or klr1421@verizon.net

Membership Information:

Please make sure all dues and rosters are submitted as soon as possible. Deadline for dues was December 1, 2025.

The Spiritual Society of the Unclaimed Dead:  

If you are interested in receiving a decedent’s name, please contact Mary Jane Jurofcik at our LOC office 412-456-6924. Thank you to everyone who have contacted Mary Jane to claim a soul.

Nursing Home Network:
Please remember that if you have someone that is going to a nursing home outside of your area to contact Cindy Smith so that she can reach out to the local Ladies of Charity to visit. Call LOC office at 412-456-6924.

501(C)(3):

Below is the updated distribution information for the quarterly submission of Treasurer Reports and Bank Statements. The deadline for reporting is March 15th for the months of December, January, and February. Updated sales tax exemption forms are available by contacting Judy Weismann at weismann2@comcast.net. Also, please consider joining the 501C3 team by inputting data into QuickBooks. Contact Judy if you would like to begin a training session.

Sister Moderator:
As you know, Sister Mary Victor Powers passed away last month. Continue to pray for her as she looks after us from heaven. Sister loved all of you so very much. May she rest in peace.
